This is a pair of two (2) Uni-Directional, Dynamic, High Impedance Microphones. It is a designed 2 pack of microphones which which was built that way from the factory and yes, it does include TWO (2) detachable microphone cables.These microphones have a sturdy, heavy metal casing, which gives them durability, as well as a nice feel and weight to them.
