Remo PR-1422-00 Powerstroke Pro Ebony Bass Drumhead

Remo Powerstroke Pro Ebony Heads are made with a thick 10-mil ply of Mylar film, equipped with a Pressure Dampening Profile that actively pushes a ring of foam into the outer edge of the head, dampening high overtones and boosting low fundamentals.
The Profile is made of several different parts: cross-linked acoustic foam is supplemented with a layer of felt to create a hybrid muffle, while another thin layer of felt separates the Profile itself from the surface of the head.
Ebony heads have the same up front attack as Clear heads, but with a darker overall tone.
