Traditionally played by holding the drum under the players arm and gently squeezing the drum against the body as the head is struck with a mallet or hands. The Squeezing of the ropes will change the pitch of the drum.
Remo's ACOUSTICON shell is an advanced material has excellent projection capabilities and enhanced low-pitched fundamentals. Added benefits are strength, weather-resistance and reduced weight.
